The Little Compton Education Foundation believes that offering a wide variety of educational experiences that tap into students’ interests will help enrich the high-quality public education they currently receive. Whether it’s providing a greater exposure to the arts, more access to current and innovative technologies, a better understanding of the history of the community, a deeper awareness of our ecological surroundings, or offering any number of other programs, the Foundation is committed to providing educational opportunities that can ignite a child’s passion for learning.

The Foundation collaborates closely with, yet operates independently from the school system. Comprising Rhode Island residents, educators, community leaders, and business owners, our board of directors is deeply dedicated to public education and the well-being of children. Each member offers unique skills and expertise, volunteering their time and services for the benefit of our mission.

Striving to promote excellence in teaching and educational leadership, the Foundation cultivates joint public-private partnerships that will provide teachers with volunteer help, community support and access to additional financial resources.
